Purpose of the Role:

The Business Development Officer will be responsible for executing sales strategies to achieve project-specific targets, identifying and converting potential clients, managing customer relationships, and supporting the overall marketing and sales operations of Sayoric International Ltd. The role focuses on selling real estate properties (apartments, commercial spaces, hotels, and institutional facilities) while ensuring client satisfaction and strong brand representation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the company’s sales strategy and meet individual and team sales targets.
  • Identify and engage prospective clients and investors through networking, referrals, digital marketing leads, and property exhibitions.
  • Conduct property presentations, client meetings, and site visits to demonstrate Sayoric’s property offerings.
  • Prepare sales quotations, proposals, and contracts; assist clients throughout the sales process up to deal closure.
  • Maintain an updated database of leads, opportunities, and closed deals using CRM systems.
  • Follow up on customer inquiries, leads, and after-sales service to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Support marketing activities, including open houses, trade fairs, roadshows, and other promotional events.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer preferences, competitor activities, pricing, and emerging trends in Kenya’s property market.
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager, marketing, finance, and legal teams to ensure smooth processing of sales transactions and customer onboarding.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales performance reports and communicate feedback from clients to management.
  • Maintain a professional company image, ensuring that Sayoric’s brand values of integrity, innovation, and excellence are upheld in all client interactions.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in direct sales, preferably in real estate, property development, or high-value B2C/B2B sales.
  • Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office Suite, and digital sales tools.
  • Excellent customer service orientation with a professional and confident demeanor.
  • Knowledge of the Kenyan real estate market and property laws is an added advantage.
  • Valid driver’s license preferred (for site and client visits).

Working Conditions:

  • Based at Sayoric International Ltd’s Nairobi office.
  • Frequent travel to project sites and client meetings.
  • Flexible hours, including weekends, depending on client schedules and open-house events.
